Revive Law is a family law practice founded by Camila Motta, a lawyer with experience in family law and estate planning. Camila serves clients in the Greater Toronto Area, Halton, Peel, York, Durham, Hamilton, Niagara Falls, and London. Revive Law focuses on providing child-centered and empathetic legal services that preserve relationships while advocating for clients' interests.
Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Lawyer at Revive Law. The Lawyer will be responsible for handling family law cases, including divorce, parenting, property, and support disputes. The Lawyer may also handle estate planning, including preparing wills and powers of attorney. The day-to-day tasks may include client consultations, legal research, drafting legal documents, negotiating settlements, and representing clients in court.

Qualifications
- Some knowledge of family law in Ontario is a requirement, even if limited to law school courses
- Special interest in family law is a must
- Experience in family law and estate planning is ideal but not a requirement
- Training and mentorship will be provided as needed
- Strong communication skills
- Comfortable with technology use as the practice is fully remote
- Ability to handle emotional and challenging situations with empathy
- Excellent legal research and writing abilities
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ontario license to practice law
- Fluency in Portuguese is a plus
- Personal experience in family law is a plus
