As a Family Law Associate Lawyer at Panko Collaborative Law & Mediation, your primary focus will be helping families transition through separation and divorce in a way that fosters positivity and understanding.

- Facilitating collaborative discussions between parties to reach mutually beneficial agreements.
- Advocating for the well-being of children by prioritizing settlement-focused approaches and reducing conflict exposure.
- Providing legal counsel and guidance to clients seeking alternative dispute resolution methods.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of innovative strategies that leverage technology to enhance our services.
- Identifying and connecting clients with additional wrap-around professional supports, such as counseling and therapy.
- Working in collaboration with other service providers and participating in community engagement initiatives. Participation in ongoing professional development, networking, and team building activities.
- We have a minimum billing requirement of 100 hours per month. We understand that starting in a new role requires time to acclimate and establish connections with clients. Hence, we provide a 3-month ramp-up time to support you during the initial stages of your journey with us. This period allows you to build relationships, familiarize yourself with our processes, and settle into your role with confidence.
We are looking for someone who embodies our core values and has the following qualifications:
- Holds an L.L.B. or J.D. degree and is licensed to practice law in Saskatchewan.
- 2-3 years of family law practice in Saskatchewan is ideal, but all applicants are welcome.
- Previous experience in collaborative law and/or mediation with a minimum Q. Med. designation is a plus, but we are open to training the right candidate.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up to date with legal trends and best practices.
- A strong passion for helping families outside the confines of the traditional adversarial legal system.
- Proven ability to work diligently, take initiative, and make a positive impact on our clients' lives.
