Oakley Family Law is looking for a 3+ year family lawyer with an entrepreneurial flair to join our team. The ideal candidate should be an active member of the Law Society of Alberta, who enjoys working with a friendly and collaborative team and loves dogs. Our office encourages authenticity and supports working parents.
We offer remuneration opportunities under contract. Pay is based on your earnings – work hard for yourself and reap the benefits. A book of clients is an asset, but not required, as we have plenty of work (lawyers who do not bring clients have generally filled their books within approximately two months due to demand). Our firm can support a rate of up to $450 per hour. Remuneration is approximately 60-70% of receipts depending on assistant costs.
We emphasize work-life balance and utilize technology to allow you to work from home, if that is your preference. If you prefer to work at the office, enjoy large offices with conference, caucus, and mediation rooms also available. It is a short 15 minute drive to the Courthouse with free parking for you and your clients.
