Company Description

Nuada Law is seeking an Associate Lawyer with 3 to 5 years of experience in civil litigation to join a growing legal practice. Employment law experience is required. This is a full-time, in-person position in downtown Toronto, just a short walk from the subway and on the PATH. 

Role Description

This is an opportunity to work in a modern, tech-forward legal practice that leverages AI to enhance efficiency, research, and client service. The ideal candidate is a forward-thinking lawyer who embraces innovation in legal practice and can independently manage litigation files while also collaborating on complex matters. You will work directly with the principal lawyer on a wide range of employment law matters, with a particular focus on litigation. This is a unique opportunity for a lawyer who wants to do more than handle files; it’s a chance to be part of a growing practice and play a meaningful role in shaping the firm’s future.


Qualifications

  • Licensed and in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years of civil litigation experience.
  • Employment law experience is required.
  • Strong advocacy, negotiation, and litigation skills.
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical abilities.
  • Comfortable using AI and legal tech tools to enhance efficiency.
  • Ability to independently manage files and meet deadlines.
  • Client-focused approach with strong interpersonal skills.
