Nova Law is located in the heart of Port Moody and helps clients from all over the Lower Mainland. Nova Law specializes in Family Law, Wills and Estates Law, Estates Administration as well as Elder Law. We do both solicitor work as well as litigation. We love what we do!
We are looking for lawyers interested in our practice areas, in good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia. Here, you will have the opportunity to build your own practice within Nova Law. Success is important to us – we offer strong mentorship and collegiality to the lawyer who fits within our values system.
This is a hybrid remote position – you can work remotely but we can provide a space for you to see clients in person when needed.
Qualifications
- 2 to 3 years of experience within the indicated practice areas
- Capable of bringing own clients
- Ability to work independently to manage an entire legal file, from initial contact with the client to providing legal advice, and doing the necessary legal work in a timely fashion
- Ability to handle a high volume of work and prioritize workload efficiently and effectively
- Can work well independently and collaborate with others
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Confident and personable
- Self-motivated with a high sense of personal ethics and integrity
