Mondex Corporation is currently seeking a talented attorney based in Toronto, Ontario to add to its international team of historians, researchers and legal experts. Working together seamlessly, we help clients worldwide to recover valuable works of art looted during conflict periods, in particular the Second World War.
The attorney would assume a role of the Senior Legal Counsel to collaborate with our legal and research team on various provenance research projects regarding looted works of art. The required skills and qualifications:
- Knowledgeable about laws and regulations, related to looted art restitution
- Knowledgeable and interested in art, art history and European history
- 5-10 years of law practice
- Availability to travel internationally on a regular basis
- Excellent client management skills
- Great negotiator/strategist
- Creative thinker
- Excellent communication skills
- Technology proficient
- Good in prioritizing tasks
- Fluent in French
