Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated Junior Associate Lawyer with 2-4 years of experience in real estate and mortgage enforcement, or related fields. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of residential real estate transactions and be eager to take on a variety of responsibilities. This role offers a unique opportunity for professional growth, with the potential to advance into a leadership position within the firm down the line.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage real estate closings and transactions, ensuring compliance with all legal requirements.Handle private mortgages and assist with mortgage enforcement litigation.Provide support in wills and estates, including drafting documents and advising clients.Collaborate with founding lawyer and support staff to deliver high-quality legal services.Participate in client meetings and provide exceptional client service.Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations in real estate and mortgage enforcement.

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Called to the Ontario Bar and licensed to practice in Ontario.2-4 years of experience in real estate law, with a focus on residential transactions and/or mortgage enforcement, or related fields.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Commitment to professional development and growth within the firm.
