Your Role And Responsibilities
As a member of a team of sophisticated, experienced and diverse lawyers and contracts professionals from across the globe, the successful candidate will primarily focus on negotiating complex IT services contracts with Kyndryl’s customers and providing legal advice to support Kyndryl’s business in Canada. This role is based in Montreal, Quebec.

Your Role And Responsibilities
As a member of a team of sophisticated, experienced and diverse lawyers and contracts professionals from across the globe, the successful candidate will primarily focus on negotiating complex IT services contracts with Kyndryl’s customers and providing legal advice to support Kyndryl’s business in Canada. This role is based in Montreal, Quebec.
- Preparing, reviewing, negotiating, and advising on all aspects of IT services contracts.
- Acting as a trusted advisor to internal business clients on various legal matters, including liability, indemnities, intellectual property rights, and data privacy obligations.
- Identifying legal and commercial risk and contributing to sound solutions that meet legal and business goals.
- Providing post-engagement legal support, including contract interpretation, and assisting with dispute resolution.
- Providing ongoing education, guidance and coaching to business teams and colleagues on relevant legal concepts.
- Ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures.
Required Technical And Professional Expertise
- A law degree and a member of the Bar of Quebec.
- 5 years of professional legal experience with a focus on transactional work.
- Demonstrated success in negotiating complex transactions.
- Fluency in French and English.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to draft contract clauses in the absence of templates.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and matters concurrently.
Preferred Technical And Professional Experience
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Previous exposure in an IT-related industry is an advantage.
- Comfortable in a high performance and fast-paced organization requiring strong collaborative work.
- Willingness to step outside comfort zone and learn new areas of law.
