Our Home Hardware Team is growing! We’re looking for a Legal Counsel to join the Legal Team at our Dealer Support Centre. Reporting to the Director, Legal Services, you will be responsible for providing timely business-oriented legal advice to internal clients regarding corporate and commercial matters.

What you’ll do:
- Review and advise on commercial contracts and agreements (e.g., information technology contracts), as well as on purchasing and commercial real estate transactions.
- Support management of litigation and other legal actions involving the company.
- Support other special projects as required.
- Research and prepare legal memos as needed.
What we’re looking for:
- Law degree (JD or LLB) from an accredited university, with an emphasis on Business or Real Estate Law.
- Minimum of 1 year corporate transactional and commercial experience, ideally with a background in either technology law and/or secured transactions.
- Excellent research skills, ability to work independently and with a high degree of ingenuity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with financial concepts.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- French language skills would be considered an asset.
